SportVU is launching the first REAL TIME state of the art coaching tool system based on its unique tracking engine and is announcing its new football club client Maccabi Haifa FC

Kfar-Sava, Israel, July 2nd, 2008 - SportVU Ltd., is a new technology company that has developed a Players/Ball tracking engine. This new solution is non-invasive, real time tracking system for live sport events (System continuously tracks entities such as players, referees and ball). It is comprised of, three off the shelf fixed standard mini pc based sensors, positioned in one location on the pitch, standard hardware running sophisticated image processing software and requiring only one operator. SportVU coaching tool is a comprehensive REAL TIME reproduction of a football match. This new and improved interactive tool was designed to provide the coach a unique tool that allows analyzing every movement of the players, ball and referees in unlimited number of tactical views based on coaches' immediate preference. This unique solution is available to the coach during the game (in a live mode with less than 1 sec. delay from real time), during half time and immediately after the game for more in depth analysis, all based on the coach preference. In addition to the large data sheet output that the new tool provides for each and every player the new coaching tool enables game analysis incorporating graphical output and video footage.

The Maccabi Haifa football club, known also as the "Greens", was founded in 1913. The club is an eighth-time winner of the Premier League championship and has also appeared 12 times throughout the years in the state cup finals, wining it five times. The Clubs choose to purchase SportVU solution primarily for its coaching capabilities but since the solution is based on a real time tracking engine it will be used also to give the fans a tools that will provide better knowledge of the team and will strengthen the relationship between the fans and the club. Maccabi Haifa will use SportVU's solution to provide real time information to their fans via the club's internet site. This new concept will allow the fans to watch specific events, receive up to the second statistical information of their favorite players and view the game form various tactical viewpoints that were never seen before in live internet broadcasting.
